Newborn Care Pricing:

Each family and each situation is unique, so a single set price doesn’t work for all. If you’re anything like me though, you dislike seeing “contact us for a quote!” So, let’s discuss the costs.

A typical nanny agreement sets a few specific details. It guarantees a minimum number of hours of care for your family and pay per week for the nanny, a start and end date (which can be extended on completion), as well as how overtime hours and additional services will be handled. It covers how sick days will be treated, paid days off, family travel and tax documentation.

An exact start date isn’t often practical for Newborn Care. To provide stability for both parties, an earliest start date is agreed to, and a two-week, non-refundable deposit is made at that time. This allows me to guarantee availability. Should the baby come more than two weeks late, you would not be responsible for additional pay until delivery and I officially begin your Newborn Care. Should the baby come early, we will work together to get started as quickly as possible.

A base hourly rate of $22 will be charged, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. A set schedule of your choosing will be determined, consisting of 5(five) eight hour days or 4(four) ten hour days between 7am-7pm, Monday through Friday.

Additional costs might apply:

  • Overtime at $33 per hour between 7am-7pm

  • After Hours Care $25 per hour, Overtime After hours care $37.50 per hour

  • Additional children to care for at $2 per hour per child
